Matthew Liu
Hello Parents/Guardians,

My name is Matthew Liu and it brings me great joy to announce that I will be your child’s Math teacher here at Frenchman’s Bay Public School. Your child is now starting their last years of elementary school. As a grade 7/8 student, your child will have greater privileges but also greater responsibility.
I received my Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Ontario Institute of Technology. Prior to that, I completed my undergraduate honours degree from York University in Kinesiology and Health Science.
Teaching is a major passion in my life. I strive to not only help students further their knowledge and develop leadership skills so they can be positive contributing members in their community. In addition to teaching, I have a great passion for sports. I have been playing many sports since elementary school through to university such as basketball, volleyball, football and rugby. My favourite of them all is basketball. I am an avid fan of basketball and continue to play on a weekly basis.
I am extremely excited to be a part of the Frenchman’s Bay Public School team and cannot wait to get involved with coaching and other groups/clubs that I have yet to discover.
